Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is plasma that has a higher concentration of platelets than normal blood. This higher concentration of platelets has a higher concentration of growth factors and these growth factors accelerate healing when injected into wounds or rejuvenate when injected into hair follicles or the skin.  

The treatment is indicated for improving skin quality such as laxity, fine lines and wrinkles and hair loss and hair density. 

Areas which can be treated include the face, upper and lower eyelids, the scalp, hands, decolletage and many more. 

As it uses the body’s own plasma there is very little risk to having the treatment however bruising, bleeding and swelling are normal and to be expected.
